Longhorns Flag Division
Week 10 - Sunday, November 2
Longhorns Gold Flag 12 - Richmond 2
It was a high scoring game for the Longhorns against Richmond. Both teams had long runs. Evan Clare had an amazing game
with three touchdowns and Ben Pascoe added another with a great run up the sidelines. The team did a great job blocking for
each other and it made a huge difference. The quarterback had time to get the ball and the ball carriers had room to run. The standouts on
offence were the entire offensive line of Max Thompson, Mathew Hayter, Taaj Jhooty, Kyler Hoogland, Arjan Sandhu and Corbin Grant.
The defense was led by Keijaun Johnson and Sam Plourde. There was great pressure by the defensive line to get through
to the backfield for the flags. Nice flags by Daesaun Johnson, Logan Weibe and Brody Clark. The Johnson brothers
also made a couple of great blocks on the last play to help Evan get to the end zone to tie the game.
What an awesome game Longhorns!
Week 9 - Sunday, October 26th
Longhorns Gold Flag 13 - Langley 6
The team played a very tough game against a strong Langley team. The fog was thick and everyone’s hands were cold but the boys warmed
up and made the game very close. Evan Clare worked extremely hard and battled through some injuries to get our first
touchdown. The team was lead by the great blocking of Kyler Hoogland and Logan Weibe. They made the difference to get
Brody Clark in for our second touchdown. The flags were hard to grab with cold hands but Sam Plourde and Ben Pascoe
fought through to get some.
Way to never give up Longhorns.

drove the ball down the field. Great job at quarterback by Taaj Jhooty. He also scored a touchdown with a
run straight up the middle near the goal line. The defense played very well, getting flags in the backfield helped to
turn the ball over on downs on a few of their drives. Defensive standouts for the game were Logan Wiebe, Evan Clare
and a flying flag grab by Johnson. The offense was lead with great blocking by
Ben Pascoe, Corbin Grant, and both Keijaun and Daesaun Johnson. A late touchdown run by Keijaun Johnson
tied the game.
Way to go Longhorns!
Week 7 - Sunday, October 12th
Longhorns Black Flag 9 - South Delta Rams 0
The South Delta Rams hosted the Longhorn Black Flag team at Dennison Park this past Sunday. It was another complete
performance by North Delta. Diallo Ighorewo threw a 15 yard pass that was tipped by a South Delta defender.
It took a quick eye and a steady hand by Sunjay Bath to grab the tipped ball and run it for a touchdown.
Reilly Noble was a powerhouse on Defense. South Delta’s quarterback was having difficulty receiving the snap
before Reilly had his flags. All three Miller boys, Jack. Clay and Travis helped push the offensive line
forward enabling Delta’s runners to make easy yardage. The end result was another shutout with Delta winning by three
score 9-0.
Good job Longhorns, another great day of football.
Week 6 - Sunday, October 5th

Longhorns Black Flag 3 - North Surrey Ravens 3
It was a great day for football at John Oliver. Here are a few of the highlights for the Delta Longhorn Flag Team

with Max Thompson, Taaj Jhooty and Mathew Hayter all blocking very well. The second half started fast as Samual Plourde
