Playoff Round 1 - Sunday, November 9

Coquitlam Wildcats 55 - Longhorns 6

The weather didn’t dampen their efforts as our men showed true Longhorn spirit until the bitter end. Sound blocking by Truce Ighorewo and Alan Clarke with an excellent block by Rochon Bhattacharya which opened a gap for Dustin Thomas to run in the only touchdown and he received the game ball from the commissioner.

In the third quarter a fumble recovery by Jake McDonald rallied the defensive line that prevented four extra point attempts. Thomas Martin and Rochon Bhattacharya demonstrated solid coverage while Taylor Pencer pushed the ball forward with a great third quarter effort.

Our Longhorns showed their true sportsmanship congratulating the Wildcats and held their heads high after a spectacular Peewee season.

Our team captains showed true leadership throughout the season and thank you to the coaches and the supporters for a great year!

Week 10 - Sunday, November 2

Longhorns 22 - Langley Mavericks 20

The Peewee Longhorns played an excellent game! Dustin Thomas with 3 touchdowns. Excellent play by Kam Baughan, Coleton Prins and Sean McCulley, Jack Kraft, Justin Swartz and Taylor Pencer.

Congratulations Longhorns! Now it’s onto the playoffs!

Week 9 - Sunday, October 26th

Longhorns 39 - Westside Warriors 12

The Peewee Longhorns played an excellent game in Vancouver. Jayden Basra blocked the way in the first quarter for a touchdown by Justin Swartz. Fumble recovery by Sam Orlick. Dustin Thomas with a 50 yard touchdown. Great defense by Jacob Konishi, Karnvir Kang, Jake McDonald and David Graham. Great blocking by the offensive line.

Great game Longhorns.

Week 8 - Sunday, October 19th

Coquitlam Wolverines 44 - Longhorns 7

Longhorns faced their toughest challenge of the year as they took on the 7-0 Coquitlam Wolverines. Offence rallied in the fourth quarter as Rochon Bhattacharya blocked a gap allowing Dustin Thomas to in a 39 yd touchdown. Strong blocking by Tyrell Harker and Truce Ighorewo kept the ball gaining downfield.

For the defense Thomas Martin and Lucas Nair blocked pass attempts while the defensive line held strong preventing a second quarter attempt within their own 5yd line. Austin Blum had an open field tackle; Sam Orlick with an onside kick recovery and Taylor Pencer stopped an interception.

Week 6 - Sunday, October 5th

Longhorns 14 - North Surrey Cardinals 0

Dustin Thomas had an 82 yard touchdown. Outstanding defense by Austin Blum, Sean McCulley, Taylor Pencer, Kam Baughan, Thomas Martin and Jake McDonald.

Tyson Vincent with an interception in the 3rd quarter.

Week 5 - Sunday, September 28th

Longhorns 40 - Cloverdale Bobcats 0

Dustin Thomas had 5 touchdowns and Tyson Vincent got a touchdown! Justin Swartz and Tui Binghi kicked and ran for the extra points.

Two great tackles by Sean McCulley and Kam Baughan. Taylor Pencer had on onside kick recovery when Cloverdale kicked the ball. Jack Kraft forced a fumble. Solid defense by Manraj J Bains.

Week 4 - Sunday, September 21st

Longhorns 43 - Cloverdale Lynx 0

Dustin Thomas had a 61 yard touchdown. Justin Swarz, Tui Binghi and Rochon Bhattacharya all had touchdowns.

Great tackles by Chaysce Dionne and Coleton Prins.

Sam Orlick had an onside kick recovery.

Week 3 - Sunday, September 14th

Longhorns 22 - Coquitlam Cougars 8

Tyrell Harker opens scoring in the first quarter on a reverse run play. Two point convert kick by Justin Swart good. Justin Swartz later scored in the second quarter on QB sweep left. Two point convert blocked. Coquitlam rally with a touchdown in the third quarter and the two point convert kick was good. Longhorns Tui Binghi scores late to end the scoring in the fourth quarter on 20 yard sweep right with the two point convert by Justin Swartz.

Six turn overs on downs forced by solid Longhorn defense. Excellent tackling all game with especially strong performances by Sam Orlick, Alex McLellan-Emro and Sean McCulley.

Week 2 - Sunday, September 7th

Coquitlam Lions 20 - Longhorns 14

Tui Binghi got the first touchdown to start the game. Justin Swartz had a touchdown and a great kick. Great offensive plays by Truce Ighorewo, Rochon Bhattacharya and Dustin Thomas. Awesome defense by Sam Orlick, Manraj Bains and Alan Clarke.
